These projects have been funded through the Crown Infrastructure Partners (CIP) programme which was developed in response to COVID-19, providing economic and wellbeing benefits to the regions in the wake of a turbulent 2020.

In Tauranga our project delivery team is leading the project management for the $45m Futureproofing Cameron Road project for Tauranga City Council, and our survey team is also helping deliver early investigations workstreams to support the detailed design and construction. 

In Wellington we’re providing Programme Management and Advisory support to Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency as a number of CIP projects progress through the early works stages.

Rich is developing a well rounded skill set as an Engineering Technician opening him up for an advanced career.

Richard joined Vitruvius in July 2018 as a Technician in our Civil Engineering team whilst simultaneously studying his engineering diploma.

Johnny Priestly  joined the team as a Technical Director spearheading our advancement into Digital Technology and how we continually innovate and evolve to meet our clients objectives. 

Johnny has an innate nature of focusing on the strategic drivers from the macro environment whilst being able to break these down in tangible solutions and fostering engagement and structure along the way. 

Johnny is accredited in ‘Managing Successful Programmes’ (MSP) which provides for framework and structure for change cases across an organisation. 

Johnny is recognized as a leader to coach and mentor others at all levels.

Jamie Rowe joined Vitruvius in the Team Leader Transport role where he provides complex project management and delivery in the transport and infrastructure sectors. 

Jamie is relationship focused, with a very personable leadership approach which allows him to drive delivery from the strategic level through to implementation, and across multiple disciplines. 

Jamie is committed to client delivery with his key areas of expertise being project management,  business case writing and verification, transport planning / engineering and safety, and design delivery.

We were appointed off the back of our recent project management of the Western Bay of Plenty Transport System Plan, of which the Futureproofing Cameron Road project was identified as critical to the sub-region tackling its housing, transport and environmental issues, through the provision of a truly multi modal transport corridor. The 3.2km stretch of Cameron Road will be transformed to include new part-time bus clearways, a bidirectional cycleway, and improved pedestrian safety and enhanced amenity. 

Scott Williamson is appointed as the Programme Manager, supported by Nic Barnett as the Project Manager.
