Keith has worked in the UK rail industry since graduating from university with a Master of Engineering degree in 2002. His work has included project management, design specification, asset maintenance, maintenance improvement, asset management and learning development, with a focus on track engineering. His career has included work throughout the UK, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
Keith was a British Army Reservist, serving with the Railway Infrastructure Specialist Team of Royal Engineers (507 STRE) in the UK. As a Staff Sergeant and Clerk of Works, he was required to lead the technical development of soldiers in gaining intermediate and advance platelayer qualifications, as well as carrying out the supervision and management of military railway works (design and construction). He has undertaken exercises throughout the UK, Italy and Germany.
