Louise is a recognised leader in smart mobility, sustainable transport and travel demand management. She is a capable project manager and director, bringing a collaborative style to her work and a ‘systems thinking’ mindset. She is passionate about helping cities to become more liveable and find their place in nature.

Louise has undertaken a variety of roles providing consulting services to clients, as well as leading business development and strategy for the smart mobility and advisory sector. She has been a certified Project Management Professional™ since 2004 and has experience applying Agile methodologies. She has a talent for getting the best out of her teams, from inception through to successful delivery.

Louise is a valued strategic advisor and has been sought out by clients to answer questions such as: ‘what does a smart city mean to Auckland?’; ‘why do business cases keep leading us to (car-based) infrastructure outcomes?’ and ‘how can we decarbonise our transport system, fast?’

Louise’s technical strengths lie in transport planning, travel behaviour change, smart mobility, decarbonisation and sustainability. Her expertise has led her to present at numerous conferences in NZ and overseas. She’s joined public panel discussions, been interviewed for articles in the national press and twice spoken to the NZ Parliament about the future of mobility in New Zealand.

Louise joined Vitruvius in 2021, adding another level of diversity to our expertise in strategy, travel demand management, smart mobility and sustainability.
