Vitruvius has provided Project Management to act on behalf of the KiwiRail though the development of the Asset Management Plan, procurement and physical works phases and delivery of the initial scope.

The works has included a variety of short term repair and recovery activity at the same time as long term investigation and strategic development.  

The scope delivered to mid-2016 has included a portfolio of activity to the value of $7.9m consisting of:

• Ventilation systems.
• Concrete repairs.
• Coring and geotechnical investigations.
• Rail fastening refurbishment
• Drainage works
• Communications systems
• Earthworks

Works continue with Vitruvius acting as Engineer to the Contract, Engineers Rep and on ongoing Professional Services and Advisory role to KiwiRail.
