Auckland office a success

The decision to expand and set up our third operating centre in Auckland in the middle of 2021 has proven to be every ounce of success.

Whilst the strategy was sound, the success has been made through the team that have joined and led on this plan.  The drive to set up a local office in Auckland was around having the presence to better support and deliver for our clients, living and breathing their challenges and being able to build personal relationships.

The first success for Vitruvius in Auckland was the affirmation of being able to attract high calibre talent who are successful in their own right.  Inducting the team into the Vitruvius culture and ways of working has enabled the team to develop their own successes, build and foster their own relationships and now be delivering on their own projects.

The Auckland team have been operating for six months, the team have grown to 5 credible and valuable team members with more talent on the way in the coming months.

Amongst other projects that the team are delivering on, Bradley Jones, Auckland Business Leader, has been working on long term key infrastructure projects for KiwiRail (including the City Rail Link) and supporting several contractors in the road and rail sectors..  Louise Baker, Technical Director, has been working with Auckland Transport, Waka Kotahi and Bay of Plenty Regional Council on Travel Demand Management, other initiatives to support the climate emissions reduction plan and setting up Project Controls systems.

The diversity the team brings further builds on the value offered by Vitruvius as a well-rounded, pragmatic and delivery focused team, brave enough to take on a challenge whilst enjoying every adventure.
