Lynda has established a respected career as a chair, director, and governance advisor, drawing on more than twenty five years of experience supporting organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific. Her current governance roles include Independent Chair of Flooring Xtra Licensing Limited, Chair of the New Zealand String Quartet Trust, Deputy Chair of ChemDry NZ Limited, and board member of the New Zealand String Quartet Foundation. She has previously chaired Wellington Water Limited, served as an independent member of the New Zealand Army Leadership Board, and led the New Zealand Institute of Management (Central).

Alongside her governance portfolio, Lynda is the Chief Executive Officer of Align Group — the consultancy she founded in 1997 to help organisations strengthen strategy, culture, governance, and performance. Align Group is known for its people centred, future focused approach, supporting leaders and boards to achieve clarity of direction and cohesive organisational alignment.

A Fellow of the Institute of Directors and an accredited Foresight Practitioner through the Institute for the Future in California, Lynda brings an approach grounded in strong relationships, clear purpose, and disciplined, long range thinking.

Lynda joined Vitruvius in September 2025. As a Director, she contributes independent oversight and strategic insight, supporting the business as it continues to mature, grow, and strengthen its long term foundations.
