We’re looking for a Financial Accountant and Systems Specialist to join our dynamic team. This newly created role combines financial expertise with a passion for systems, ensuring data accuracy, reporting excellence, and continuous improvement across our financial and project systems.
You will play a key role in supporting business decision-making by proactively developing your business acumen to provide data and reports to enable actionable insights helping us achieve our strategic goals.

What You’ll Do
- Complete month-end close processes and prepare management reports with insights on financial performance.
- Analyse financial data to deliver clear, actionable insights for decision-making.
- Lead and manage system integrations, ensuring financial data accuracy and seamless process alignment.
- Support cashflow monitoring, forecasting, and contribute to budgeting processes.
- Oversee debtor management, payroll processing, GST returns whilst ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Drive process improvement through automation and system optimisation, reducing manual efforts.
- Develop and implement enhancements to analytical tools and reporting frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, providing coaching and support to team members.
What You’ll Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Strong passion for financial systems (e.g., ERP software), data management and analytical tools (e.g. Power BI, Excel, SQL).
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and train end users.
