Ian brings over a decade of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in roading, land development, and infrastructure design.
He has contributed to a wide range of projects including large and small land development, and major highway infrastructure such as the Peka Peka to Ōtaki Expressway. He is passionate about 3D design and BIM, with proficiency in Civil 3D, 12D Model, and AutoCAD.
With his background in road geometric design, he is excited to be part of the rail engineering team and take on the challenges of track design and rail infrastructure.
Ian holds a NZDE (Civil) and NZDEP, is a Chartered Member of Engineering New Zealand, and is passionate about delivering practical, high-quality engineering solutions that support growth and resilience.
Ian is a keen gig-goer and movie buff, and also loves the great New Zealand outdoors, be it in tramping boots or on a mountain bike.
