Kate is a Chartered Civil Engineer with over 20 years of experience in flood risk, water resources, stormwater management and sustainable drainage. She has led the delivery of a wide range of infrastructure and development projects across New Zealand and the UK, bringing expertise in technical leadership, project management and collaborative problem solving.
Kate has extensive experience working with NZTA/Waka Kotahi, including several Roads of National Significance projects. She is recognised for her technical expertise, collaborative leadership style and ability to bring teams together to solve complex challenges.
Kate has also appeared as an expert witness and represented project teams at public consultation events in both New Zealand and the UK.
